Day 01

Mood of the day:
It is January 1st, 2010. Today was the kick off of the cleanse. I am very motivated, I am just very curious how long my husband is going to hang on. But every juice he drinks makes me very happy so I will keep good faith in him ;-) I was not very hungry, I made sure that when ever I had food thoughts, I had a juice in front of me. I never hit a point of hunger. I noticed that I do better when I avoid the things that distract me - such as TV with endless food commercials. I picked up a book in stead!
I got up later than I wanted. Last night was NYE. I had a slight headache that started after lunch, probably my sugar addiction that wants attention. I am just going to ignore that altho my husband had some banana's and was craving bad foods and saying he was hungry but in fact never drank the whole glass of juice. So all and all I had a pretty good first day!

This is what I had (herbal supplements not listed):


water w mineral drops
water w lemon


YOGA


smoothie:

1 c coconut water
1/2 c raw pomegranate juice
1 handful of blueberries
1 handful of raspberries
2 t. fresh ginger juice
1/4 t. bee pollen


smoothie:
1 apple
1 pear
1/2 c. water
1/4 t. royal jelly
1 lime


hot tea with fresh mint


energy soup (makes 2 bowls):
1/2 cucumber
3 dark green kale leaves
1 handful of sunflower sprouts
2 leaves of lettuce
2 cloves of garlic
2 T. dulse flakes
1 T. nutritional yeast
1 handful of mache leaves
juice of 1 lime
1 zuchini
1 ripe avocado
1 sachet of Sun Chlorella granules


30 min WALK


juice 1:
3 carrots
3 turnips
2 beets
1 T. ginger juice
1 celery heart
2 lime
1/2 cucumber


hot tea with fresh mint


juice 2:
1 celery heart
1 cucumber
2 lemons
5 kale leaves
handful of sunflower sprouts
handful of dandelion leaves
salt


hot water with 1/2 t Maca, 1/2 t. Lucuma and handful of goji berries


broth:
potassium broth of yuka peel, carrot peel, beet greens, union, garlic, celery
I added some avocado to the broth because my husband asked for it. I also added cayenne and salt.


1 bowl of salad; mix of mache, pea sprouts, marinated beets&carrots&zuchinni, sunflower sprouts, with olive oil & salt


dessert of freshly made coconut milk w chia seeds and lime peel 


glass of Kombucha diluted with water


BATH w epson salts and lavender


a sleep by 10 pm!
